Jessica (Nelson) Hamm

Blue Pencil Editorial, founded by Jessica Hamm, seeks to provide excellence in editing while honoring the creative voice of its clients. Jessica is a hybrid inspirational romance author who writes under the name Jessica Nelson. Find her books HERE. She has been active in the writing and publishing community since 2007. She has served as PAN liaison, VP-Programs, and President for Sunshine State Romance Authors. She is a former acquisitions editor for Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas (now Iron Stream Media). With almost twenty years of experience in writing, critiquing, and editing, Jessica’s passion is working with creatives to refine their words into exceptional material.

From 2006 to present, A.G. Howard has researched, written, revised, and edited fourteen manuscripts, eight of which went on to be published traditionally as young adult novels—both domestic and foreign—that earned her New York Times and international status, awards, and critical acclaim. Having lived the writer’s journey firsthand, A.G. retains a special empathy for the challenges aspiring authors face. If you’re looking to break into the publishing world, either traditionally or Indie, she has myriad skills and insights to share. Throughout all phases of edits, she will aim to respect and retain your personal voice, concentrating solely on the technical aspects of writing to help your finished product sparkle and shine.
